Rihanna Hand Tattoos
Many celebrities have inked their hands with all kinds of interesting tattoos. Khloe Kardashian, for example, has her husband’s initials tattooed on her right hand, and her husband has hers inked on his same hand. However, pop star Rihanna’s hand tattoo is one of the most unique hand tattoos out there. The intricate tribal dragon claw tattooed on Rihanna’s hand is distinctive because it wasn’t just inked in the normal tattoo fashion with needles and ink. Rihanna’s hand tattoo is a traditional tat done in the style of the Maori people of New Zealand. The Maori people use chisels to imprint inked grooves in the skin, which causes the skin to be raised and rough instead of smooth. There are a lot of tribal tattoos out there, most of which should have been reconsidered, but Rihanna’s hand tattoo is definitely one of a kind.
Rihanna’s Tribal Maori Hand Tattoo
Superstar Rihanna always wanted this particular tribal hand tattoo, which represents love and strength, although she claims “it hurt like hell.” Of all Rihanna’s body tattoos, her hand tattoo is probably one of the most beautiful (and painful) tattoos she has. It’s obvious that Rihanna isn’t afraid of a little pain for the sake of a new tattoo though—the star also has tattoos on her neck, shoulders, fingers, leg, hip, side and ear. Rihanna’s hand tattoo is equally as impressive as the rest of her tattoos, if not more. The Moari-inspired Rihanna tattoo represents something that Rihanna really believes in, and serves as an everyday reminder to the widely successful pop star. You have to give Rihanna credit for opting for such a large and exotic hand tattoo. Getting a hand tattoo is risky because it’s always out there for everyone to see and can’t be easily covered up. Fortunately for Rihanna, she probably doesn’t have to worry about attending a job interview anytime soon.
